•Thought-provoking new Staff&Line technology e-Newsletter which features research from Gartner, outlines how to Make IT Management Easy
•Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, EasyVista.com, described an essential service management product moving forward

St Albans, UK, 6th November 2009: Staff&Line UK Ltd, a European leader in IT management solutions, today announced that its new technology e-Newsletter featuring research from Gartner, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company, is now available online, and the issue is focused on ‘Making IT Management Easy’ for CIOs and IT managers alike.

The e-Newsletter, which can be visited at http://www.gartner.com/technology/media-products/newsletters/staff_line/issue1/index.html, discusses how the service management market is continuously evolving and maturing, as companies are looking to implement best practice and automated operational processes. In his View from the Top piece, Jamal Labed, COO at Staff&Line comments:

“We see huge changes afoot and a real revolution as the barriers between software and services come down and more of our customers demand Software-as-a-Service. As the market matures so customers understand that they need something different from their software providers. This is not just a matter of renting versus buying. Customers want to outsource the entire administration of the tool and focus on their core competencies.”

The e-Newsletter outlines how 2009 has also seen a new look for Staff&Line and how it has become a priority to make the management of IT as easy as possible for CIOs and IT Managers across the globe, through its SaaS IT asset and IT service management solution, EasyVista.com.

Labed added: “There will be interesting times ahead. Top of our agenda is to make the management of IT as easy as possible. Whether this is through SaaS or our on-premise version, EasyVista has been designed with ease of use, transparency, value and simplicity in mind. I’m looking forward to the explosion of SaaS.”

The e-Newsletter adds that although Staff&Line’s latest corporate positioning may be new to the outside world, its product and service offering over the last 20 years is nothing new to its customer base. It describes how Staff&Line has more than 3,300 customers who are all benefiting from the same thing – improved service quality, reduced deployment costs, simplified implementation, ease of maintenance, and flexibility. Links to clients’ success stories are included in the publication too.

The e-Newsletter also provides an overview and link to download Staff&Line’s recent article ‘Cost Control: The Value Proposition’ which highlights how the need for organisations to rein in costs and improve manageability is driving them to consider how their software is delivered. The article discusses how improving processes around IT, organisations can gain control of and then reduce their costs, improve their processing time and enhance their overall service provision.
