Vividas technology enables streaming world first full-screen ‘Reality TV’ series for casino and internet gambling group...

Vividas have created and built Aspers.tv, which together with Vividas’ unique video streaming technology has enabled Aspers Casino World to deliver the world’s first docusoap to be broadcast at full screen TV quality over the internet starting this week.

Aspers Casino World, sponsored by Aspinalls on line casino Aspinalls.com, can be viewed, without installing any special software, on www.aspers.tv. The docusoap shows life behind the scenes at Aspers Casino - the first Aspers in the UK opening at The Gate Newcastle.

The first of 10 weekly editions, “Training Days”, describes how the Aspers Academy, which has recruited 60 young people with unpromising prospects, goes about training them to be Newcastle’s finest croupiers

Damian Aspinall, Director of Aspers, said “I’ve seen all the finished episodes so far and it’s been a real eye opener for me. It really gives a flavour of what Aspers is about. It’s fantastic that anyone around the world will be able to view the docusoaps and see what’s going on at Aspers ”.

Vividas’ Chief Executive, Geoffrey Hamilton-Jones, said “The Vividas-powered series represents a new and compelling on-line experience, combining two of the principal applications for Vividas technology - marketing communications and entertainment. This is the first time our streaming technology has been utilised by an internet gambling group”.

Created purely for the web, Independent filmmakers Maddy Farley and Mike Wallington are producing the series – episodes include the development of the casino, staff recruitment, training, fit out and the opening party itself on Thursday 27 October.
