The Sunday Times spotlights Geo as one of Britain’s top ten fastest growing private technology companies

London, United Kingdom, 21 September, 2009 – Geo has been named as one of the fastest growing private technology companies in Britain by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100. Geo was ranked in seventh position with annual sales growth over the last three year of 146.29 per cent per annum and sales in 2008 of £33 million.

Geo provides organisations with a range of next generation fibre optic network solutions, including fully managed networks using dark fibre and lit fibre, as well as co-location and Gigabit Ethernet network services. It owns a 3,000 km fibre network in London and nationwide.

The annual Tech Track 100 league table, now in its ninth year, was published in The Sunday Times on 20 September. It is compiled by Oxford-based research and networking events company Fast Track, with sponsorship from Microsoft, Barclays Commercial Bank and BDO Stoy Hayward.

The 2009 Tech Track 100 ranked Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies based on sales growth over the last three years. Growth ranged from 38 per cent per annum to 189 per cent per annum, with sales typically between £5m and £30m.
