Trustmarque Solutions Opens Scottish Office To Capitalise On Customer Demand

York, UK 16th September 2009: Trustmarque Solutions, specialists in all facets of software and services management, has today launched its new Scottish office in Edinburgh, which has opened in response to growing customer demand.

Trustmarque already has offices in Windsor and York and this addition will drive forward the company’s presence in Scotland. The office at Edinburgh Park sees new jobs created as well as an initial investment of approximately half a million pounds, this will rise as business develops in line with its aggressive sales targets.

Trustmarque already has high-profile customers in Scotland, such as the NHS, and will be looking to expand their existing base and focus on new customers in both the public and private sector, as Garry Tough, Country Manager for Scotland, comments:

“Currently Scotland accounts for 15 percent of Trustmarque’s overall sales and this is projected to rise to 25 percent within three years. Showing such optimism in the recession proves Trustmarque’s commitment to Scotland and the opportunities that lie here. We have an extensive network of contacts in the Scottish market and we are looking forward to building new sales channels and maximising the opportunities presented. Having a team dedicated to Scotland is a fantastic step forward for the business and will help us to build an even stronger relationship with our customers here, both existing and new.”

Investing resources in Scotland is part of Trustmarque’s strategic development plan which has been driven by CEO Scott Haddow since he joined the company in February 2009. The company’s primary goals are to enable private and public sector organisations in Scotland to enjoy greater value and less cost through the solutions Trustmarque’s consultants implement. Scott Haddow comments:

We had a strong financial year with pre-tax profits of £4.68m and this is a fantastic base for us to launch our Scottish office. A full business plan for the Scottish office has been created and approved by Trustmarque’s Board. Scotland will be autonomous fiscally and has full backing for fiscal year 2009-10. Further investment will follow as the plan is delivered to ensure their 3 year strategic goals are realised.
