MindTree Boosts its Independent Testing Services through Global Partnership with Skytap

Global IT solutions company, MindTree has announced that it has entered into a global strategic alliance with Skytap Inc., the leading provider of cloud-based virtual lab solutions. The partnership enables MindTree’s customers to scale test labs on-demand through Skytap’s Virtual Lab solution. This will result in a partnership to provide customers the dual advantage of specialised testing services and access to the cloud-based virtual lab and lead to IT costs, accelerated lab provisioning and more effective collaboration among global teams.

Skytap provides testing teams with a complete virtual lab solution over the Web. Enterprises can take immediate advantage of Virtual Lab by utilising Skytap’s library of pre-built virtual machine, OS and application images, or uploading existing virtual machines, builds, test scripts and ISOs into the Skytap environment. Enterprises can scale lab resources up and down as needed from Skytap’s pool of virtualized infrastructure. Lab operations can be tightly controlled through a full-featured virtual lab management application. As a result, Skytap Virtual Lab provides enterprises with faster lab deployment, additional time for planning and execution, and improved collaboration across globally distributed teams.
