Webcredible, the user experience consultancy, today announced its appointment by boutique hotel booking provider, Mr & Mrs Smith for a usability testing project on its website. The project is designed help improve the user experience of the site and validate customer understanding of Mr & Mrs Smith’s proposition.
Mr & Mrs Smith started out as an offline boutique hotel guidebook, with a website that was perceived primarily as a research tool and bookshop. Since 2005, Mr & Mrs Smith added an online booking capability to its site, which allows customers to search availability and book hotels.
It was important for the company to ascertain whether its customers fully understood its service offering. Webcredible’s usability testing for this project consists of 12 participants performing various tasks throughout the site. Analysis and recommendations are then communicated to Mr & Mrs Smith based on the results of the tests.

Webcredible was chosen by Mr & Mrs Smith for this project following a three-way competitive pitch process.
