Corizon to enable Oracle AIA customers to optimise user processes by streamlining and simplifying composite application UI integration...

22 September 2008, London, UK, and San Francisco, CA – Corizon, whose enterprise mashup software simplifies the creation and management of enterprise-class composite applications, today announced support for the creation of composite applications through the Oracle® Application Integration Architecture (AIA) for partners Initiative. The solution will be showcased during Oracle’s and Corizon’s presentations at Oracle OpenWorld 2008 on 22 September, Moscone West, USA, Room 3002/04 at 2:30 p.m.

Oracle AIA delivers process-based integrations across Oracle, third party and custom applications, and now with Corizon these capabilities can be extended all the way to the User Interface (UI) and user process. When used together solutions benefit from a combination of Oracle AIA’s agile and supported process integrations and Corizon’s ability to easily build task based composite applications that are fully independent from any enterprise application. Now enterprises can transform their business processes from “top to bottom” by ensuring that not only data, but also user tasks flow efficiently.

Through Corizon, Oracle AIA customers will now be able to rapidly create easy-to-use composite applications that provide consistent processes and a single user interface spanning different applications. Developers will no longer need to customise or develop applications manually, or lock them into screens of a specific enterprise application. Corizon cuts the risk and cost of building composite applications, and enables them to be easily adapted to the business’s changing requirements.

Corizon’s User Interface (UI) Services extend service-oriented architectures (SOA) by making services visible and tangible to the business. They provide business friendly “building blocks” to simplify the build and maintenance of composite applications. This enables businesses to control the creation of composite applications, extend enterprise applications such as Oracle’s Siebel CRM with minimal customisation and deliver self-service portlets - all while saving up to half the cost and effort of custom development or application customisation. Corizon’s newly announced support for Oracle AIA provides integration between the two products that simplifies the creation of UI Services to take advantage of Oracle AIA Enterprise Business Services, further cutting developer effort and easing composite application build.

Jose Lazares, Vice President of Application Development, Oracle said: “Oracle AIA provides open, pre-built SOA which enables Oracle and third-party applications to become easily and securely integrated. We see Corizon as a key AIA ISV partner as their UI services extend Oracle AIA to build complementary business-led, task-based solutions across Oracle Applications to provide our joint customers the simplified solution they need.”

Eric Guilloteau, CEO, Corizon said: "Through Corizon for Oracle AIA, we enable Oracle AIA customers to create a seamless and intuitive user process and user interface that easily bridges legacy and AIA-enabled applications. This compelling offer combines the supported, pre-built process integrations from Oracle with our simple user facing integration, providing businesses with cost-savings while they build more effective, secure and tailored process applications.”
