Award-winning e-mail management tool transforms archive system

e-mail search with Ontrack® PowerControls™ version 5.0 ~

Kroll Ontrack® has launched Ontrack® PowerControls™ 5.0, the newest version of the company’s award-winning e-mail recovery and management tool.

The data recovery specialist’s upgrade enables IT managers to provide their organisations with faster and more effective on-demand e-mail recovery, restoration and searching, directly from Microsoft Exchange Server backups or a live Exchange Server.

Ontrack PowerControls 5.0 can search, move, export and delete e-mail. Operating directly from an IT manager’s desktop and utilising advanced search capabilities, Ontrack PowerControls dramatically reduces e-mail restoration time and eliminates brick-level backups, enabling the provision of on-demand e-mail management.

Access to the software can now be controlled through Administrative Services functionality, which mirrors the organisation’s internal IT security policies. In addition, Activity Auditing functionality enables organisations to ensure proper usage of the software and track all actions taken by its users.
